4th of July

We spent our celebrating for the 4th of July in Idaho with Grama and Papa Coco (as Eliza would say). (The grandparents are currently named according to the animals they have. G & G Stevenson are Grama and Papa Pigeons.)
It was a fun weekend, especially since everyone was all together. It has been a while. We started the 4th off with a parade. Eliza really got into getting all the candy with a little motivation from her dad. We had one moment where she started crying because she didn't get any, but after a little talk, she wasn't so emotional and even remembered to share with the other kids around her. Then we went to the fair and the kids got the chance to catch a fish with their bare hands. It was pretty exciting and with a little help from her daddy, Eliza got one! After a little rest and relaxation at home we debated about the next activity. With Miller's brilliant idea we decided to go ice blocking. It was really funny and fun because everyone tried it. (Some of us were more coordinated than others.)The day finished off with a firework show at the college. It was a great show. Eliza even got a little bored because it was so long. But her and Kennedy had fun running around. The next day we went swimming at Natsupa (probably spelled that wrong). Eliza for some reason was rather frightened of the water. I think she was just used to the small splash ponds where her feet can usually touch. But Liberty thought it was rather delightful as she fell asleep in her little tube. We finished the night off kid free with a delicious buffet dinner at Jack pot. I had desert for the main course and loved it. It was a great weekend!!!
